Nelly Zagury is a multidisciplinary artist based in Paris. Trained at HEAD – Genève, Haute école d’art et de design, and a graduate of HEAR – Strasbourg, Haute école des Arts du Rhin, she works across drawing, painting, and sculpture.

Her practice explores the enduring relationship between femininity and ornament. Drawing inspiration from Ancient, Mediterranean, and Eastern cultures, she creates visual narratives where the sacred, the intimate, and the surreal converge. Motifs of ritual, dream, and mythology weave through her compositions, forming a language that is both timeless and deeply personal.

Zagury’s work has been exhibited internationally, including at Selebe Yoon (Dakar), Mash Gallery (Los Angeles), The Chimney (New York), the Musée des Arts Décoratifs (Paris), and the Musée de l’Œuvre Notre-Dame (Strasbourg). In 2024, her pieces entered the Cynthia Sears Collection at BIMA (Washington), and she participated in La Force au Féminin Gala Auction at The Glasshouse, New York.

She has completed residencies at Poush, Selebe Yoon, Massa Stories, Le Wonder, and Les Roches Brunes, and in 2025 her work is supported by the Matanel Foundation. Alongside her artistic practice, she teaches jewelry art history and drawing at the Haute École de Joaillerie de Paris.
